Zetwerk secures order to install 1400 EV chargers for IndianOil across India

The competitive bidding process for this project involved over 40 EV suppliers from across the country. The EV chargers to be installed by Zetwerk will have capacities ranging from 50-60kW to 100-120kW and will utilize DC Dual gun CCS2 DC Charger technology, enabling simultaneous charging of two vehicles with dynamic load-sharing capabilities.

By partnering with Zetwerk, IOCL aims to bolster its position as a comprehensive energy solutions provider and invest in emerging mobility trends such as electric vehicles (EVs).

The deployment of these fast chargers aligns with IOCL’s long-term Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals, focusing on empowering consumers with clean energy options and reducing carbon emissions in the transportation sector.

Abhay Adya, Business Head – Renewables at Zetwerk, commented on the partnership, stating, “This prestigious partnership with Indian Oil, the leading energy company of India, is very significant for Zetwerk’s vision of revolutionizing EV charging infrastructure in the country. By strategically locating these charging stations in major cities and along highways, we aim to facilitate the widespread adoption of EV mobility and contribute to a sustainable future.”

Zetwerk has been actively expanding its presence in the renewable energy sector and recently played a key role in setting up Bangladesh’s largest solar power plant.
