PM Modi said that India's commitment to becoming a global frontrunner in green hydrogen production. He said that creating sustainable employment opportunities in environmental conservation and the renewable energy sector is a key part of this vision.


A central part of his address was the ambitious goal to achieve 500 gigawatts of renewable energy capacity by 2030. PM Modi pointed out that India has uniquely distinguished itself among G20 nations by meeting its Paris Accord targets, showcasing its leadership in global climate action.


He added that the broader strategy to integrate environmental sustainability with economic growth, emphasizing that green jobs will be a cornerstone of India’s future economic development.
